Police Make Arrest After Off-Duty Officer Spots Apparent Theft In Progress

Police arrested one man and continue the search for another after an officer interrupted an apparent burglary attempt.
Officers say an off-duty officer spotted two men trying to steal an air compressor along Levirne Court. One man took off running. Police say the second suspect resisted the officer.
Police arrested Jason Carpenter, 31, and charged him with resisting arrest and theft.
Officers continue to search for the second suspect.
