The spring severe weather season has been off to a record slow start. However it started getting more active over the weekend and the trend continues this week.

Patchy fog for the morning will give way to partly cloudy skies and a chance for a shower in the afternoon. Your work week starts very warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.

We've still got some scattered showers working through the Bluegrass this evening. The bulk of them will fizzle out before midnight tonight with the loss of daytime heating. Saturday looks cloudy and pretty wet for a lot of us with periods of rain and thunderstorms off and on throughout the day. The highs on Saturday will be held down because of the clouds topping out in the mid to upper 70's.
