Police, Firefighters Investigate After Truck Found Overturned In Creek

Officials in Lincoln County are investigating after a truck was found overturned in a creek, but no one was inside when it was discovered.
The truck was found off of Kentucky 2141 Monday afternoon near the Boyle County line. The pickup, which is registered to a female, was pulled out of the creek, but there was no sign of the driver.
Officials at the scene continued to investigate.

Barren County Officials Charged With Violating Civil Rights

The Barren County Sheriff and four other men are charged with federal civil rights violations.
Sheriff Christopher Brian Eaton, Deputies Aaron Adam Bennett, Joseph Minor, Danny Robert McCown and drug task force detective Eric Duane Guffey face charges.
Investigators say they assaulted an unidentified person last February, then took part in a cover-up of the attack.
