The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says work at Man O War Boulevard and Sir Barton Way will be done Wednesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The work is part of the Highway Safety Improvement Program. The left turn lanes from Man O War onto Pleasant Ridge Drive will be closed during the work.

    SCOTT COUNTY, KY. (LEX 18)-- Two lanes of northbound and southbound HWY 25 are blocked at South Rays Fork due to a CMV accident. Crews estimate it will be closed till around 8 a.m.  Anyone going north on HWY 25 can take Porter Road and take I-75 northbound to the 144 and exit there to get onto 25. Anyone going south HWY 25 can take I-75 southbound from the 144 to exit 136 and turn onto Porter Road and then get back on HWY 25.

State ride inspectors determined the water level was too low, causing a boat to tilt against a safety rail. 13 passengers were evacuated from the ride and two were sent to the hospital. Kentucky Kingdom has added a second sensor on the ride to prevent a similar incident.
