    Hamidou Diallo was taken with the 45th pick in Thursday night's NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets. Then, they turned around and traded the former UK guard to the Charlotte Hornets. Diallo came to Kentucky in the spring of 2017 but he only practiced with the team and didn't play.     Former Kentucky forward Kevin Knox was selected by the New York Knicks with the 9th overall pick in the NBA draft. Knox was Kentucky's leading scorer a season ago, averaging 15.6 points per night, starting in all 37 games for Kentucky With Knox being drafted top-10, the Wildcats have now had a player drafted in the top-10 every season since 2010.  John Calipari now has 25 first-round picks during his time at Kentucky, with 18 of those being lottery picks.

Former UK announcer Ralph Hacker posted the news on social media that Frances Ledford, wife of Cawood Ledford, had passed away. Neither immediate details about cause of death nor funeral arrangements were available. Frances and Cawood lived in Harlan after his retirement from UK in 1992.  LEX 18 will update this story as we learn more details.

Police say an SUV went off the road into the grass, took out a tree, and flipped. Three people were ejected, and one person was cut from the SUV.  All adult passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
