    The show is always in the lobby... When you civilians or "normals" go to the comedy club you are there to watch a performer on stage.  But for us performers we often see a much more entertaining show ... in the lobby.  People are amusing if you just have numbers and time. We've seen arguments, make out sessions, inebriation and that's just the shows hosted by the baptist. What I'm about to tell you is true only the names have been changed because I can't remembe...

    Comedy club Comedy off Broadway at the Lexington Green is celebrating its 30th anniversary of making central Kentucky laugh this year. Originated 1987 it was actually on Broadway.  Developed by Investors and the late Jeff Gilstrap.  Jeff was a renaissance man of comedy who appreciated and loved the art form and wanted to give it a home in Lexington.  He wanted it to be a theatrical experience of engagement not just a bar selling drinks where the inducement to keep drin...
