Dunbar has named Scott Chalk as its new boys' basketball coach.
Chalk is a 11th Region veteran. He coached the last nine seasons at Franklin County High School. Prior to that, he coached nine years at Frankfort High School.

The The 2012 KHSAA State Track and Field Championships got started Thursday at Owsley Frazier Cardinal Park on the campus of the University of Louisville with the class 1A championships.
