An Owsley County man was killed in a shootout on Saturday night near Booneville.
A second man was also injured in the shooting.
The Kentucky State Police tell LEX18 that they are investigating the shooting that was reported at around 8:15 p.m. on Seales Road.

Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Owsley County Saturday night.
Troopers say they got a call from a man who says he was riding an ATV when someone shot at him. State Police say the man on the ATV then shot back at the first shooter, killing him.

Another person involved with an attempted murder in Lincoln County has pleaded guilty to lesser charges.
According to the Interior Journal newspaper, Autumn Drass pleaded guilty to burglary and assault charges for her role in breaking into Minnie Goode's home last summer. She was originally charged with attempted murder and is the third person to take a plea deal in this case.
Drass faces a recommended prison term of five years.
