    It happened Thursday afternoon on KY 302/ Water Gap Road.

    Officials say an autistic child climbed out a window of his grandmothers house and was walking on the road when a coal truck driver saw the child and stated she had to swerve to miss hitting him.

    MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky (WPSD) The body of a former basketball star, Joe Ford Jr., was found in his SUV along I-24 in McCracken County. WPSD reports that Ford's wife reported him missing on Tuesday after she was unable to get ahold of him.  Ford played basketball and football at Mayfield High School before playing on the Vanderbilt Commodore men's basketball team in the 1970s.  This story will be updated.
