We're tracking our next cold front moving into the area that will bring rain and snow later on this Valentine's Day. As of 1PM today, clouds have been thickening up and temperatures are still well above freezing in the upper 30s and 40s. Beginning later this afternoon, temperatures will fall and we will see rain changing to a rain/snow mix and eventually over to snowfall. The winter storm warning for our far northern counties and winter weather advisories for the rest of the viewing area will be in place due to the potential for accumulating snowfall and hazardous road travel conditions after the onset of snowfall.
We'll continue to track the changes on the MaxTrack Live Doppler and will have a new update each hour on our Facebook page and on LEX18.com. In addition, tune in to LEX 18 News beginning at 5PM to check the latest conditions and forecast before heading out for your Valentine's Day evening plans.
