Police are trying to track down the suspects involved in a theft of $150,000 worth of Rolex watches at a Lexington jewelry store.
The robbery Saturday afternoon at Sheila Bayes Fine Jewelers was caught on camera. The suspects apparently used a sledgehammer to break open the display case and then stole the watches.
They stole the watches and took off.
"No employees were injured," said Lt. Eddie Hart with the Lexington Police Department. "When they actually started breaking the glass, the employees fled to the safe area of the business, called 911, and reported it to us."
Police are hoping the public can help identify the two men seen in surveillance photos.
The suspects are described as two black men, one with a stocky build and dark-colored jacket and one with a thin-build and a red jacket.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lexington Police Department.
