The first of what will be widespread showers are firing over western Kentucky and running up the Ohio River early Thursday morning with a few showers in the Bluegrass as well. We're in the low to mid 60s with a breezy southwest wind. After a soggy Thursday with rain and isolated t-storms we'll turn our attention to the winter weather potential. A winter storm watch kicks in Thursday night for the Bluegrass and into southern Indiana and Ohio with a flood watch over southeastern counties. I'll have more on sleet, freezing rain and snow as well as heavy rain chances coming up on LEX 18 News at Sunrise.
