It's cloudy and cold early Thursday morning but not quite cold enough for snow unless you're in Covington. We're in the mid to upper 30s with cold rain reported over western counties, get ready for a wet and possibly slick commute. As colder air filters in later this morning we should see a change from rain and a rain/snow mix to light accumulating snow. Amounts still look to be around an inch or less from Lexington south with 1-2" over northern counties and 1-3" over the higher elevations of our southeastern mountains... a winter weather advisory remains in effect- I'll see you for LEX 18 News at Sunrise starting at 4:30!
