A cold front directly over the area is sparking a few snow showers and keeping the wind gusty early Thursday morning. The snow showers I'm tracking have put down minor accumulation to a quick tenth of an inch of new snow- combine that with the wind blowing snow and roads are snow covered and slick again in spots. A wind chill advisory remains in place for below zero all the way down to -10 wind chill readings, we're in the teens and it is another very cold morning. See how much longer the deep freeze hangs with us and check out weekend snow chances coming up on LEX 18 News at Sunrise.
