Welcome to another bitterly cold morning on the Kentucky Tundra... the wind chill is wicked early Tuesday from around zero south to -5 to -15 below as you head from the Bluegrass into northern Kentucky. A wind chill advisory is in effect for most of the area except southwestern counties through late Tuesday morning. So far the actual lows are in the mid single digits with northern counties the first to drop below zero (-3 in Covington, 5 in Lexington). We're partly cloudy with a north wind- expect it to get even colder over the next few hours, we'll only make it back to the upper single digits to low teens for Tuesday afternoon highs but at least there will be sunshine to go along with the frigid conditions. I'll see you at 4:30 for LEX 18 News at Sunrise!
