I have good news and bad news early Thursday... we'll start with the bad news first. Showers lifting across western Kentucky are headed our way later this morning. The good news? There's quite a bit of dry air at the surface so we're only going to see a few showers & mostly cloudy skies even though the radar returns look impressive. Those showers are also along a warm front that will be well to our north later today- highs will surge to the upper 50s to low 60s Thursday thanks to a gusty south wind! See why we'll get even warmer but see better chances for showers & storms tonight into Friday coming up on LEX 18 News at Sunrise.
