Three more defensive players are now gone from UK's roster.
Tim Patterson, who was considered the top prospect in the 2010 class in Kentucky by Rivals.com, and a big recruit by Joker Phillips getting him out of Louisville where he was important in Central High School winning a couple of state championships has left the team.
Patterson, a 6-foot-4 inch 250 pound linebacker was expected to become a star at UK.
Justin Henderson, a 6-foot-3 inch 242 pound linebacker played in four games last season as a Redshirt Freshman. Henderson was first-team all-state in high school. He was a four year starter at tight end for Bamberg-Ehrhadt High in South Carolina. Henderson like Patterson is not only leaving UK by choice, but also was not listed as a starter.
Defensive end Nermin Delic was dismissed for a violation of team rules. The 6-foot-5 inch 280 pound sophomore came back to UK in January after sitting out the fall semester while recovering from injuries. As a true freshman Delic looked like he might turn into an excellent SEC lineman. He had a quarterback sack against Vanderbilt and shared a sack with Taylor Wyndham against Akron.
