Monday's cold front has stalled over Tennessee and there it will remain the next couple of days. This means a split forecast for the area today with Bluegrass counties ending up partly sunny and warmer with highs in the mid to upper 80s. As you head south an get closer to the front the clouds will be thicker and scattered showers and occasional t-storms will persist Tuesday. Watch for heavy rain, gusty wind and frequent lightning. Highs will run a little cooler as well with upper 70s to low 80s south.
That old front will keep a few showers and storms far south Wednesday with highs in the mid 80s and more sunshine here in Lexington with an isolated shower/storm chance. Wet & stormy weather ramps up late in the work week with a better shot at scattered showers and storms Thursday and Friday and highs staying in the 80s.
