A cold front will slowly drop south Friday morning and with it we can expect scattered showers & isolated t-storms that will wrap up over southeastern counties Friday afternoon. It'll end up warm again with mostly to partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 80s. A north to northeast wind will start to usher drier air into the Commonwealth this evening and we'll see mostly clear skies overnight with lows in the mid 60s.
A beautiful weekend is on tap with mostly to partly sunny skies dominating Saturday and Sunday and highs in the mid to upper 80s late in the weekend. Get ready for consistent highs around 90 through much of next week- it took until the last week of August but it's finally going to feel like summer around here!
