An accident shut down a section of 1-75 Sunday night.
Police say the crash happened around 10:15 p.m.near the 110 mile marker when a Toyota Tundra was rear-ended by a car. The car went over an embankment and into some trees Police say the driver of the Tundra was not hurt. The driver and a passenger in the car were taken to UK Hospital. They are expected to be OK.
Investigators say that speed was a factor in the accident and the driver of the car admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the night. There is no word on what if any charges the driver may face.
Traffic on I-75 is flowing normally Monday morning.
