Tuesday was the first day of school in Magoffin County.

Students and teachers at Salyersville Grade School returned to classes in a renovated warehouse.

The school building was destroyed in last March's deadly tornado. LEX 18 obtained video footage from security cameras inside the school as the EF-3 twister slammed into the building. The video shows two maintenance men inside a hallway as the tornado strikes. The force of the winds sucks one man inside a stairwell.

Amazingly, the worker wasn't seriously hurt.
