A nationwide cancer study is getting help from central Kentucky to up its enrollment for its cancer prevention study-three.
The American Cancer Society held a news conference Monday morning at Lexington's Saint Joseph Hospital. They're asking for men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer to join a historical study that they say has the potential to change the face of cancer for the future.
"Who knows, this study could change the face of cancer and this could change everything for our future generations and for that I am grateful," said cancer survivor Mina Boyd.
