An Anderson County Sheriff's Office deputy and two children suffered injuries in a crash Sunday morning.
Officials say Deputy Tony Likins was driving along KY-44 around 9 a.m. Police say the road was slick from snow, and Amy Swisher lost control of the Toyota Corolla she was driving. Likins pulled over to the the shoulder to avoid the collision, but the Toyota hit the cruiser head on.
EMS took two kids in the Toyota Corolla to Jewish Hospital Shelbyville, where they were treated and released. Swisher was not injured. Deputy Likins was taken to UK Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
Police say the children were not properly restrained.
