Police in Anderson County are investigating after a complaint of raw sewage being dumped on Wildcat Road Tuesday morning.
At about 6:30 a.m., deputies responded to the rural section of Wildcat Road in Anderson County after being dispatched for a possible illegal dumping complaint. Upon arrival, deputies observed what appeared to be raw sewage that had been dumped, and were then able to obtain a description of the truck involved from nearby neighbors, leading to its discovery.
Deputies then questioned two people of interest and impounded the truck for evidence.
Police say the investigation is ongoing by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, Kentucky Division of Water and the EPA. So far, police have not reported any arrests.
