For the fifth time in the last several weeks, a robber hit a Subway restaurant in Lexington.
Police say a man armed with a gun walked into the Subway off Clays Mill Road around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Nobody was hurt.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his late 20s, standing about 5'10". He was wearing all black and had his face covered with a ski mask. The gun was black with silver markings on top.
Police say they continue to work to determine which, if any, of the recent Subway robberies share a connection.
