The retrial of a man accused of killing his parents in Scott County went to the jury Thursday.
The prosecution and defense completed their closing arguments Thursday morning in the case of Anthony Gray, who is accused of gunning down his parents, James and Vivian Gray, to collect insurance money back in 2007.
Gray took the stand in his own defense Tuesday. Gray testified that police tricked him into confessing to the murders of his parents. He says police made him believe they had evidence linking him to the shootings. Gray claims after five and a half hours of interrogation, a Scott County detective gave him no choice but to confess to the crime he says he didn't commit.
In Gray's first trial, a judge declared a mistrial in January of 2012 after the jury failed to reach a verdict.
