A burglar burst into a Lexington home demanding drugs Sunday night.

Police say a man broke into the house on Spring Station Drive just before 11:30 p.m. He pointed a rifle at a woman inside and demanded drugs. Investigators say the woman did not have any sort of medication in the home, but the burglar did get away with some money from her purse.

The woman told police that the burglar met up with another person, possibly a man, and both got away in a green or black car, either a Dodge Charger or Intrepid.

Police continue to investigate the incident. They have not made any arrests.
