FRANKFORT (AP) - The Kentucky Arts Council is accepting artwork to be considered for the governor's annual Kentucky Derby exhibit at the state Capitol.
The council says in a news release that any Kentucky visual artist may submit up to two works for consideration. The work must be original, two-dimensional and ready for installation.
Applications are being accepted online until Feb. 22 and there's no fee to apply. The exhibit will be on display in the Capitol Rotunda from March 25 to May 6. The Kentucky Derby is May 4.
