AT&T Cell Phone Service Out In Parts Of Bluegrass

AT&T cell phone service was interrupted throughout portions of the Bluegrass Thursday, including all of Lexington.

Other reports of outages have come in from several other counties, including Woodford, Lincoln, Jessamine, and Garrard counties.

A&TT Market Manager for Kentucky and Tennessee Cathy Lewandowski said that some 2G and 3G wireless customers are experiencing a temporary service interruption both making and receiving calls. AT&T technicians are investigating the root cause of the service interruption and are working to restore service to those affected customers as soon as possible. Lewandowski said AT&T sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience as the work to restore services.
