It's all about shooting.

The first half against Alabama to open up the SEC Tournament reminds you of the last time UK played Tennessee. Who can forget the Cats shooting 2 for 22 from downtown.

Thanks to Darnell Dodson's three beating the halftime buzzer, UK trails 'Bama 35-30. It was the only three of the half for the Cats.

UK is 1-9 from downtown.

Alabama is 4-7 from downtown.

'Bama has a 9 point advantage from downtown.

UK started like they missed their wake up call. Bama quickly went up 17-8. UK had 4 missed field goals and three turnovers in seven possessions. And, at that point, the Cats were shooting 3 of 12 from the field.

It seemed like the Cats had a lot of turnovers, but they are only behind in that category 6-4.

Besides outside shooting, 'Bama is destroying UK on the boards, 26-16.

Cousins has two fouls and has had to sit. He has no points, and three rebounds. Daniel Orton, who gets a great opportunity to shine, picks up three fouls.

Overall, the Cats are shooting better, 39 to 33%.

'Bama is playing the way they said they did on Thursday, they aren't ready to go home. They are playing to be Cinderella. The only way they make the NCAA Tournament is to win the SEC Tournament.

Right now, the Cats are playing like they are looking forward to the NCAA Tournament.

Patrick Patterson leads the Cats with 10. John Wall has chipped in with 7.

But, there is 20 minutes left, and down by 5 points means nothing.

UK is behind at the half 35-30.

Joe Hall was honored by the SEC at the half and did the John Wall dance.
