(AP) - Baptist Health Lexington is set to unveil its new entrance signs and the lighting of its new beacon signs for the first time since rebranding itself.

The unveiling is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. EST in Lexington.

Baptist Health Lexington was formerly known as Central Baptist Hospital. Baptist Healthcare System operates seven hospitals statewide.

Hospital officials say the new brand reflects a national shift to focus on preventive care and health improvement.

Baptist Health signage and other identifying features at each location will be replaced over the next few years. Eventually every branded piece will be changed.
