A fire caused damaged at a Georgetown restaurant late Wednesday night.

Firefighters say the blaze broke out in the smokehouse at Fat Boy's Barbeque on Cincinnati Pike around midnight. The fire destroyed freezers, the smoker and some other equipment.

The main restaurant building did not sustain any damage.

The owner says Fat Boy's will open Thursday, but he cannot guarantee they will have barbecue available.
