After all the talk about the bad shooting, the Cats found the rim beating Georgia 80-68.
UK hit 54.4% of their shots, which included 8 of 24 from downtown, which is tons better than the 2 for 22 against Tennessee.
John Wall with 24 pumped in his second highest total at UK. Wall, who hit 8 of 10 shots, chipped in with 6 assists, 3 steals and 3 turnovers.
Wall best was 25 in the big win against UConn. He also had 24 when the Cats beat Tennessee at Rupp.
Charles Barkley told the SEC network, "very few people in the world can do that."
The former Auburn superstar was talking about Wall's flying left hand dunk in the first half with Georgia star Travis Leslie on his heels.
Georgia's biggest lead was 26-20. Wall's dunk started the comeback.
Darnell Dodson took over after Wall's left hand jam. Dodson, whose been slumping, hit 8 straight points. Dodson's 11 makes it six times out of 30 games he's hit double figures. It's the first time he's had at least 10 in eight games.
Patrick Patterson was like a rock, 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting. He finishes with a double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds.
How good is UK?
Barkley says that "Kansas is the best team." He put Syracuse right behind them.
He is concerned about the young Cats when the NCAA tournament begins.
"Don't know how they are going to react," says Barkley.
The Cats closed the door early in the second half. They took a 40-36 lead and expanded it by scoring 12 straight. From there, the game was never in doubt.
Ironically, Georgia won the battle of the boards, 35-24.
UK claims a share of their 44th SEC Title and improves to 28-2, and earns the top seed in the SEC Tournament.
