Not exactly the winter storm most people were looking for today! We saw only a little snow but plenty enough sleet and ice to make travel dangerous in spots. Be on the lookout for some slick spots on the roadways tonight. As temperatures fall to around 20 degrees overnight, untreated and rural roads will remain treacherous. Some refreezing of roads may occur even on portions of treated surfaces. Our forecast gets better this weekend at least! High pressure will bring a return to some sunshine but temperatures will stay cool with highs only in the low 30s. A BIG warmup begins for the start of next week. Highs will be near 40 Sunday and into the 50s Monday/Tuesday.
