Things in Danville will likely prove much quieter on Friday.
But for one night, the eyes of America were on the small central Kentucky town.
Overall, things went smoothly in Danville, as Centre College hosted the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. The town filled with local and national media, along with secret service agents and political pundits.
Ryan and Biden both left the Bluegrass around midnight. Police shut down Versailles Road as their motorcades made their was to Blue Grass Airport.
Biden will reportedly head to Wisconsin to campaign, and Ryan will attend a rally in Lancaster, Ohio.
