Two former Wildcats had big nights in NBA action Tuesday.
John Wall led Washington to its third straight win. The former UK guard and No. 1 draft pick scored 26 points, dished 12 assists, grabbed six rebounds and finished with four steals in a 107-105 win over Detroit.
"I still have to leave my trademark in the league," Wall said. "As a rookie, I've proved myself a little bit, but I still have a lot to do. I just want to be a person that's going to go out there and play hard every minute that I'm on the court."
DeMarcus Cousins earned a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds in a 104-101 Sacramento win over Houston. The big man also dished out three assists and had a steal in the game.
