Parts of Western Kentucky may be in for a white Christmas, but conditions will likely be dangerous for travel.
The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch for several counties, including Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle, Ballard, McCracken, Livingston, Crittenden, Union, Webster and Henderson. The Watch is in effect for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The areas under the Watch should be on the lookout for heavy snow and strong winds that could create blizzard conditions.
Based on the current storm track, the amount of accumulation could reach up to one foot of snow in some areas.
