Police in Scott County are investigating after a body was found in a creek Friday morning.

The discovery was made at about 11:30 a.m. in Elkhorn Creek near Great Crossings Park north of Georgetown off of Stamping Ground Road.

So far, police have not released many details, other than the body is that of a man and that a truck was found nearby. They are treating the discovery as a death investigation, but have not said yet if foul play is suspected.
