Police cleared the area near a Bourbon County antique store after a potentially explosive Cold War era round was found inside.
The owner of Fairbanks Antiques in downtown Paris says she bought it from a man thinking it was the nose of a plane. But an Army veteran shopping in the store noticed it and said it looked like an armed rocket. The bomb squad was called in to dispose of the munition.
Officials say it was an old bazooka training round. Police say they don't know if the round was live or not, but the bomb squad removed and destroyed it.
