Ingredients
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon horseradish
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 garlic clove, mashed
1 large onion, thinly sliced
4 pound beef brisket
Directions
Combine all ingredients except onions, and pour over beef. Place in glass baking pan, cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 300. Remove beef and transfer to a shallow roasting pan. Sprinkle beef with onions and top with marinade. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until beef is tender. Skim off excess fat and slice.
