After a chilly last couple days, the breezy south wind is really helping out our temperatures this afternoon. We're already in the low 50s and we're headed for the upper 50s near 60 under partly sunny skies. Cloud cover will continue to thicken through the late afternoon and evening hours out in front of our next storm system arriving overnight tonight. Although the bulk of its precipitation will stay to our north, we'll see some scattered showers late tonight and Saturday with a few t-storms possible. Temperatures overnight will drop only to around 50 degrees and will climb back into the mid to upper 50s Saturday afternoon.
