UK coach Rich Brooks said Thursday that several players stricken by a flu bug earlier in the week were able to return to practice Thursday, but that a few other players were now sick with the bug.

Brook said running back Derrick Locke, who had scar tissue from his knee surgery last season torn during Saturday's loss to Mississippi State, would try to get through practice Thursday as well. Cornerback Trevard Lindley, who has missed the last two games with an ankle sprain, has been able to practice all week and is expected to play in Saturday's game against Eastern Kentucky.
