Three suspected burglars in Laurel County will head to court this week.

Police say a man and his daughter were awakened by a break-in at their home in Lily Thursday morning.

They say that's when Bobby Lee grabbed a gun and shot one man in the chest, then held him and two other suspects at gunpoint until police arrived.

Jimmy Farmer was treated for his wound at a hospital. He, Dudley Farmer and Leslie Hicks are charged with burglary and theft.

They will all be in court this Tuesday.

They have entered not guilty pleas.
