The summer time rumors are about to pick up. This won't be the last time something like this pops up.

After the Chicago Bulls fired their coach, Vinnie Del Negro, some windy city scribes started tossing out a lot of names. In that group was Cal. Part of that is because it's Cal. There is more weight to Chicago because he coaches Derrick Rose.

Cal told ESPN's Andy Katz that he isn't interested.

What might make the Chicago job even better is, they have enough money to talk to LeBron James. Everyone knows they are friends.

When it comes to UK's new backcourt next season, Cal is high on two freshman who are expected to start.

"Doron Lamb has more of a mid level game than guys I've coached in the past," says Cal.

"Guys like him I let them make their plays because they are good at it."

And as far as his new point guard.

"Brandon Knight obviously is one of the best players in the country. Great, great leader, hard worker."
