Cal was on fire, yelling with passion a number of times during his meet the media on the day before UK plays.
He watched his old team Memphis lose by two to top ranked Kansas.
Then I see Kansas last night and I feel better, maybe we're not so bad either, they are just as bad as we are" says Cal.
The Commonwealth is signing the praise of John Wall after he led the Cats with 19 after hitting a last second shot to beat Miami.
"John didn't play particularly well. Didn't give the ball up early enough. There were probably eight or nine chances where he could have given the ball to Eric (Bledsoe) earlier."
Cal was tougher on the team than he was John Wall.
"Our execution stinks right now. And it stinks because everyone is trying to get theirs. So when you are trying to get theirs, you are not worried about the play you are saying GIVE ME THE BALL."
GIVE ME THE BALL was written that way because Cal was screaming.
To Darnell Dodson, who cal admits is in his doghouse along for his lack of actions in practice
"I was so mad at him earlier in the week. I said things, I used words I hadn't used here."
Cal admits to having a doghouse. For today, Dodson and the forgotten one, DeAndre Liggins appear to be the only two in that house.
To the big men. Cal doesn't like how they are posting up. So, he planned on coaching them in Wednesdays practice.
Cal got loud again.
"We got to post it. You gotta catch it. You got to be big in there. You got to finish a shot. Or we don't post it.Well we're big. I'm trying to win. I don't care how big we are."
To jon hood. Since he didnt' practice for three days, Cal wasn't going to play him. Cal questions his toughness.
"I think he got hurt. There is all levels of hurt."
Cal even got on everyone favorite, Patrick Patterson for his move late in the game against Miami.
"We made dumb plays. I love him. How about Patricks play, DRIVING DOWN THE SIDELINE AND RAN OVER FOUR GUYS. And what were we up two at that time."
Yes, Cal was yelling about Pattersons drive.

I love Patterson as much as anyone but it is good to have a coach who doesn't play favorites when it comes to getting on the players.
