UK head coach John Calipari is in Destin, FL for the annual SEC meetings.

He was asked today about the Eric Bledsoe situation and said he had no comment.

"I'm not going to have any response to that," said Calipari.

When pressed about Bledsoe's transcrips and the process of evaluating them, he continued to have no comment.

"Why...what kind of question are you asking me?" Calipari told reporters.

"I already told you the school commented on that."

Calipari is referring to the statement the University of Kentucky released on Saturday about Bledsoe undergoing an extensive review process by the NCAA.

When asked if he'd talked to Bledsoe, who was in Indianapolis Wednesday for a tryout with the Indiana Pacers, Cal responded by saying, "We're good on that."

"One thing I will say this," he said. "Coaching at Kentucky is like being in politics. You've got your core group that absolutely loves you, and the others are trying to unseat you. That's just how it is when you're at Kentucky. I mean, it's for our fans, the Big Blue Nation, you're at Kentucky, you're in this seat. . . . We'd rather not have (controversy), but I can't control if someone chooses to write something. I don't have any control over that."
