A man is behind bars after police say he was driving under the influence when he hit a motorcycle.

It happened around 5:00 Saturday in Casey County near Liberty.

Officials say a car driven by 49-year-old Joseph Wooley turned into the path of the motorcycle.

33-year-old Darin Powell was thrown from the bike.

Powell and Wooley's passenger, 50-year-old Mike Wells were flown to UK Hospital.

Their conditions are not known.
