A car plowed into a Lexington restaurant early Friday morning.

Police say an SUV slammed into the Dairy Queen on Virginia Avenue just after 1 a.m. The driver told officers that she thought the vehicle was in reverse, but she had accidentally put it in drive.

There were no injures.

No word on whether the restaurant will open for business as usual Friday morning.
