Over 500 tickets have been sold for tours of the Castle Post in which the proceeds are going to the Salvation Army to help needy families.

The tours are set for December 6-8 at the iconic site, which is located just inside the Woodford County line on Versailles Road. Officials say that about $20,000 has already been raised for the charity.

The Castle Post was decorated for Christmas Tuesday by several local decorators for the tours.

Tickets for the some of the tours are still available. They are $40 for adults and $20 for children. The 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. tours on December 6 are already sold out.  You can buy tickets at the Whitaker Bank branch in Hamburg and at the Salvation Army office on West Main Street.
