Getting ready for Arkansas has each coach looking at something different.

For Cal, since UK has struggled big time on the road, Cal is working on what the Cats think about.

"I'm working on the psyche now," says Cal.

Typical Cal, it's not that he isn't concerned about Arkansas Wednesday night, it's getting his players ready.

"I'm working on my team. I'm not worried about any other team."

Cal has taken some heat from fans who want to see the bench play more. Against South Carolina, UK had a huge lead, but Jarrod Polson played only one minute, Stacey Poole played the same, Eloy Vargas played four and Jon Hood three minutes.

"If the team wasn't pressing I probably would have. When they backed up and went zone I said ok let those guys in."

Arkansas has another problem. They are 5-7 in SEC play. It's another tough season for former UK star John Pelphrey. As a coach, he is still looking for his first win against the Cats.

"Obviously we want to win them all," says Pelphrey. "Every time we get ready 2-3 days in advance that's the goal. It will be a big challenge on Wednesday."

The key for the Cats might be stopping Rotnei Clarke. Although he averages 13 points a game, he had 36, which is the highest total this season in the SEC this year against Vandy. And, against Vandy and LSU he was a combined 11 of 14 from downtown.

Pelphrey believes not only is Clarke better, but his teammates are helping him out more.

"Last year he made 100 three point shots. That is a lot. That is alot."

"He is better at playing inside the three point line and he has to be because teams are pressing up on him. I think Rotnei has improved before our eyes. He has gotten much better in his decision making."

"I think our team is better at screaning and delivering the ball on time."
